Volleyball Recap: Chaffey Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Chaffey entered their tilt with Montclair on Wednesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Cavaliers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in March.

Chaffey got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the fourth set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-23, 20-25, 33-31.

Chaffey's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-7. As for Montclair, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-9.

Coming up, Chaffey will head out on the road to square off against Chino at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers are facing the Cowboys at the right time seeing as the Cowboys are stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Montclair, they will be playing at home against Don Lugo at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Cavaliers will also cruise into their next match with the timing on their side: the Conquistadores will have lost five straight heading into Friday's game.
