Doherty proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by eight) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Lewis-Palmer Rangers, sneaking past 1-0. Doherty were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on Lewis-Palmer, so Doherty were just returning the favor.

Doherty's one-goal win came courtesy of MICHAEL BERRY, who's now up to four this season.

Doherty now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Lewis-Palmer, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Doherty didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 4-0 defeat against Palmer Ridge on the 5th. As for Lewis-Palmer, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Lakewood on the 9th.
