Volleyball Recap: West Ranch Falls Short of Bishop Montgomery in the Playoffs + How To Watch

West Ranch and Bishop Montgomery squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but West Ranch had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Knights by a score of 3-2.

Joeleen Reynolds paced West Ranch's offense, picking up 15 kills. Reynolds got some help from Dani Clewis and her 39 assists. Clewis was also a major player on defense: she and Grace Kelley shared the team lead in blocks, finishing with two each.

West Ranch's defeat dropped their record down to 26-7. As for Bishop Montgomery, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-6 record this season.

West Ranch does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bishop Montgomery, they will take on Harvard-Westlake at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
