Hartsville came tearing into Thursday's contest with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Lakewood Gators with a sharp 3-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Red Foxes also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Hartsville was: they took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-4, 25-15, 25-7.

Hartsville was led to victory by Ava Wilcox and Mya Madaris. Wilcox had 16 aces and seven digs, while Madaris had five digs and three aces. With that strong performance, Wilcox is now averaging an impressive 2.8 aces per game.

They weren't the only good server: Hartsville was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 31 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces in five consecutive games.

Hartsville's win bumped their record up to 13-3. As for Lakewood, their loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-8-1.

Hartsville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against South Florence on the 23rd. Lakewood has also already played their next contest (against Crestwood), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
