Soccer Game Preview: Grand Junction vs. Grand Junction Central

The Grand Junction Tigers will face off against the Grand Junction Central Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

It was a proper cat-fight when Grand Junction took on Fruita Monument on Monday. The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 0-0 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time Grand Junction have been dealt a draw since back in March.

Meanwhile, Grand Junction Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against Palisade, falling 10-0. That's two games in a row now that Grand Junction Central have lost by exactly ten goals.

Grand Junction's draw makes their record 3-2-2 this season. As for Grand Junction Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

Everything went Grand Junction's way against Grand Junction Central in their previous matchup on Tuesday, as Grand Junction made off with a 10-0 win. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
