The Fort Collins Lambkins scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They took down Broomfield 90-71. Jayce King continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 40 points along with five rebounds and two steals. That makes it ten consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Fort Collins' points. Several Eagles players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Joey Cook, who scored 20 points along with eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Blaes Kane, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds.
Even though they lost, Broomfield smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Fort Collins only pulled down two offensive rebounds.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fort Collins will face off against Prairie View at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Prairie View focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 30 on Friday. As for Broomfield, they will head out on the road to face off against Fossil Ridge at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Fossil Ridge's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last five contests.
