Basketball Recap: St. Mary's Triumphs

St. Mary proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by 35) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 52-50 win over the North Valley Knights. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Crusaders have posted since December 6, 2024.

St. Mary's has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.3 points per game. As for North Valley, they moved to 7-13 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Mary's has already played their next match (against Lakeview), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. North Valley has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Cascade Christian.
