Basketball Recap: Oak Ridge Takes a Loss

Oak Ridge has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They lost 68-43 to the Rocklin Thunder on Wednesday. The matchup marked the Trojans' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Despite the defeat, Oak Ridge saw an underclassman step up: freshman Lucas Cutler posted eight points along with seven rebounds and four blocks. Another player making a difference was Connor Sullivan, who had eight points.

Oak Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Rocklin, they moved to 9-7 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Oak Ridge has already played their next game, a 58-46 win against Davis Sr. on the 10th. As for Rocklin, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, an 81-62 victory against Del Oro on the 10th.
