Baseball Recap: AuSable Valley Comes Up Short

AuSable Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Beekmantown Eagles. If the Patriots were looking for revenge after losing 25-0 to the Eagles when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

AuSable Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Beekmantown, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

AuSable Valley will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Saranac at 4:30 p.m. on May 2. As for Beekmantown, they will square off against Potsdam at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
