Bloomfield is a perfect 10-0 against North Central since October of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:30 p.m. North Central took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Bloomfield, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with five losses in a row, Bloomfield turned things around against Dugger Union on Thursday. They blew past the Bulldogs 3-0. The Cardinals not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 3rd (when they won 3-0).

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Bloomfield was: they took every set by at least 14 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-8, 25-11.

Meanwhile, North Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 28th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to White River Valley.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-2, 25-11, 25-8.

North Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-22. As for Bloomfield, their win bumped their record up to 5-20.

Everything went Bloomfield's way against North Central in their previous meeting back in September, as Bloomfield made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cardinals since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
