Basketball Recap: Morrill Wins Going Away Against Kimball

Morrill lost to Kimball two weeks ago, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Morrill Lions enjoyed a cozy 50-35 victory over the Kimball Longhorns. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

Kimball lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Faith Bohac, who posted eight points in addition to eight boards and three steals. That's the most steals she has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Jaleigh Bohac, who scored ten points and six rebounds.

Morrill's win bumped their record up to 16-10. As for Kimball, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-18.

Looking ahead, Morrill will face off against Elm Creek at 8:00 p.m. on February 28th. Elm Creek will roll in looking for their 18th straight victory, something Morrill surely won't give up without a fight. Kimball does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
