Volleyball Recap: Freeman Beats Great Plains Lutheran for Their Fourth Straight Victory

Freeman waltzed into their match on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Great Plains Lutheran Panthers. For the Flyers, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 victory the Panthers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2019.

Freeman had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-15, 25-23.

Freeman's win bumped their record up to 13-4. As for Great Plains Lutheran, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-7 record this season.

Freeman wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Castlewood on the 27th. As for Great Plains Lutheran, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Deubrook on the 27th.
