Football Recap: FAMU DRS Baby Rattlers vs. Franklin County Seahawks
FAMU DRS was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They were dealt a 41-14 loss at the hands of the Franklin County Seahawks. The Baby Rattlers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Seahawks apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2018.
Although FAMU DRS took the loss, they still got scores from Zamar Neely-Johnson and Isaiah Butler.
FAMU DRS's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Franklin County, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.
FAMU DRS will be defending their home-field for the first time this season they go up against Sneads at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully FAMU DRS focused on turnovers this week as team gave up five on Friday. As for Franklin County, they will venture away from home to challenge Liberty County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Franklin County is facing Liberty County at the right time seeing as Liberty County is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
