Baseball Recap: Robinson Comes Up Short

Robinson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 10-6 to the West Cabarrus Wolverines. The Bulldogs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wolverines earlier this season, when they won 9-8.

Aury Greenfield made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. That stolen base marked the first that he snagged this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Marece Miller, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Robinson's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for West Cabarrus, their record now sits at 2-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Robinson will take on Carson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West Cabarrus, they will square off against South Rowan at 7:00 p.m. on March 17th.
