Basketball Game Preview: Sunnyvale vs. Canton Eagles

Sunnyvale hasn't had much luck against Canton recently, but that could start to change on Friday. Sunnyvale will challenge the Canton Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Sunnyvale will be looking to extend their current 11-game winning streak.

Sunnyvale is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They came out on top against Pleasant Grove by a score of 73-64.

Meanwhile, Canton didn't have too much trouble with Gilmer on Tuesday as they won 56-40.

Canton's win bumped their record up to 17-15. As for Sunnyvale, their victory bumped their record up to 18-10.

Sunnyvale couldn't quite finish off Canton in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 and fell 47-45. Can Sunnyvale avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
