Volleyball Recap: West Florence Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

West Florence kicked off their season on the road on Monday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell 3-1 to the North Myrtle Beach Chiefs. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Chiefs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

West Florence actually scored more points across those four sets (94-87), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-23, 11-25, 26-24.

Coming up, West Florence will square off against Battery Creek at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for North Myrtle Beach, they will be playing in front of their home fans against South Florence at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
