Volleyball Recap: Marlborough Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Marlborough was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Glendora Tartans. The Mustangs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tartans apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Marlborough was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Glendora work for it, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 23-25, 25-19, 25-10.

Glendora was led to victory by Kaleia Zeits and Peyton Barrett. Zeits had 15 digs and three aces, while Barrett had ten digs and two aces. What's more, Zeits racked up six assists, the most she's had since back in September of 2024.

Marlborough now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Glendora, their win was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 1-2.

Coming up, Marlborough will head out to take on Windward at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Glendora, they will square off against Rancho Cucamonga at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
