Basketball Recap: Washington Waldorf Comes Up Short

Washington Waldorf was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 29-19 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Don Bosco Cristo Rey Wolfpack. Washington Waldorf was not able to make up for their defeat to Don Bosco Cristo Rey from their previous meeting back in January of 2024.

Washington Waldorf's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Don Bosco Cristo Rey, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 4-4 record this season.

Washington Waldorf will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Model Secondary School for the Deaf at 4:15 p.m. on January 23rd. As for Don Bosco Cristo Rey, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against DC International at 5:30 p.m. on January 21st.
