Basketball Game Preview: Rainier Christian Mustangs vs. Quilcene Rangers

The Rainier Christian Mustangs will head out on the road to challenge the Quilcene Rangers at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 81-36, which was the final score in Rainier Christian's tilt against Summit Classical Christian School on Monday. The Mustangs haven't had much luck with the Archers recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Meanwhile, Quilcene narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Northwest Christian 61-58.

Quilcene's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Rainier Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Rainier Christian came up short against Quilcene when the teams last played back in December of 2023, falling 49-43. Can Rainier Christian avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
