Soccer Game Preview: Valdosta vs. Camden County

Valdosta is 0-5 against Camden County since February of 2023 but things could change on Friday. We've got a battle between Wildcats coming up. Valdosta has given up an average of 10.1 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.

Valdosta is headed into Friday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their seventh straight game on Tuesday. They lost 11-1 to Colquitt County. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the Wildcats were already down 7-1.

Their goal came courtesy of London Simpson, which was the first she's scored this season.

Meanwhile, Camden County got the win against Effingham County on Tuesday by a conclusive 8-1. Considering the Wildcats have won six games by more than three goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The win made it two in a row for Camden County and bumps their season record up to 7-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those two contests. As for Valdosta, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.
