Basketball Game Preview: Lenape Valley Patriots vs. High Point Wildcats

Lenape Valley is 1-9 against High Point since December of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Lenape Valley Patriots will head out to face off against the High Point Wildcats at 4:00 p.m.

Lenape Valley is headed into Tuesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Friday. They lost to Jefferson Township at home by a 52-35 margin. While losing is never fun, the Patriots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 268th, while the Falcons are ranked 57th).

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, High Point beat North Warren Regional 30-25 on Friday.

Lenape Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for High Point, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

Lenape Valley couldn't quite finish off High Point when the teams last played back in February of 2024 and fell 45-42. Can Lenape Valley avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
