Baseball Recap: Rockbridge County Takes a Loss

Rockbridge County lost against Fort Defiance back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Wildcats took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Indians. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Rockbridge County's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Fort Defiance, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rockbridge County will square off against Harrisonburg at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats are facing the Blue Streaks at the right time seeing as the Blue Streaks are stuck on an 11-game losing streak. As for Fort Defiance, they will venture away from home to take on Stuarts Draft at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
