Baseball Recap: Robinson Takes a Loss

Robinson lost against Jefferson back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Knights lost 10-1 to the Dragons. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Robinson saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was TJ Maiello, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one RBI.

Robinson now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Jefferson, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Robinson will challenge Steinbrenner at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Knights' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Warriors have averaged an impressive 6.7 runs per game this season. As for Jefferson, they will square off against Wharton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Dragons are on a five-game streak of home wins, the Wildcats a three-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind.
