Halifax Academy extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Payton Odom. Everything went the Vikings' way against the Ridgecroft Rams on Wednesday as they made off with a 3-0 victory thanks in part to Odom, who had 24 assists and three aces. She is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 14 or more in each of the last 14 games she's played.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-10, 25-17.

Halifax Academy was led to victory by Emma Inscoe and Lex Roundtree. Inscoe had five aces, while Roundtree had eight aces and seven kills. Those eight aces gave Roundtree a new career-high.

They weren't the only good servers: Halifax Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 21 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 14 consecutive matchups.

Halifax Academy's win bumped their record up to 13-5. As for Ridgecroft, their loss ended a four-match streak of away wins and brought them to 12-5.

Halifax Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Kerr-Vance Academy on the 30th. As for Ridgecroft, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Southampton on the 29th.
