Volleyball Recap: Wheaton North Takes a Loss

Wheaton North's tournament run continued when they took on Warren Township on Friday. The Falcons fell just short of the Blue Devils by a score of 2-1.

Aidan Syswerda paced Wheaton North's offense, picking up ten kills. Syswerda got some help from Trey Hubner and his 19 assists. Syswerda was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Wheaton North's defeat dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Warren Township, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season.

Wheaton North has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Palatine on the 12th. As for Warren Township, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Grayslake Central on the 12th.
