Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mid-Carolina). They never let the Eau Claire Shamrocks get on the board and left with a 16-0 win on Friday. It was an even better day for Madilyn Horning as she scored three goals for her team.

Mid-Carolina's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Eau Claire, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Coming up, Mid-Carolina will head out on the road to challenge Chester at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Eau Claire, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Lewisville at 6:00 p.m. on April 7.
