Basketball Recap: Luck Takes a Loss

Luck was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 68-13 loss at the hands of the Shell Lake Lakers. While losing is never fun, the Cardinals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 220th, while the Lakers are ranked 85th).

Luck now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Shell Lake, they pushed their record up to 12-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road.

When Luck and Shell Lake next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Luck will try to stop Siren's seven-game winning streak when the meet at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Shell Lake will square off against Webster and their four-game winning streak at 5:45 p.m. on Friday.
