After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Calera, Gardendale was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They blew past the Huffman Vikings 4-0. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Rockets' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

They hit Huffman with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Kendyll Wilson (2), Addie Brooks, and Tindel Holsomback.

Gardendale now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Huffman, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-2.

Coming up, Gardendale will be playing in front of their home fans against John Carroll Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Gardendale is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.8 goals per game this season. As for Huffman, they will head out to face off against Ramsay at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
