It was a good run, but Elk Lake unfortunately witnessed the end of their nine-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Holy Redeemer Royals by a score of 3-2. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Warriors couldn't push the score so high this time.

Elk Lake's loss dropped their record down to 10-2. As for Holy Redeemer, they pushed their record up to 10-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.
