Basketball Recap: Delran Takes a Loss

Delran was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 49-42 to the Palmyra Panthers. While losing is never fun, the Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 278th, while the Panthers are ranked 137th).

Delran's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Palmyra, their win bumped their record up to 19-3.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Delran will take on Bordentown on Thursday. As for Palmyra, they and LEAP Academy will face off at 4:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest, having both just played.
