Lompoc is a perfect 7-0 against Mission College Prep since March of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Braves will welcome the Royals at 4:30 p.m. Lompoc's pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so Mission College Prep's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Lompoc's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Cabrillo 1-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Braves.

Not much got past Alex Brooks, who gave up just three hits and racked up seven Ks to keep Cabrillo off the board.

On the hitting side, Lompoc saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gabi Arias, who went 2-for-4 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, Mission College Prep hadn't done well against St. Joseph recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Royals came out on top against the Knights by a score of 5-1.

Landrie Hinrichs spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on three hits.

At the plate, Dani Rivas was excellent, going 1-for-3 with three RBI and one double. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Sophie D'Orazio-Lelli, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Lompoc's win bumped their record up to 14-10. As for Mission College Prep, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-13.

Lompoc skirted past Mission College Prep 3-1 in their previous meeting on April 4th. Will the Braves repeat their success, or do the Royals have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
