Soccer Recap: California Lutheran Comes Up Short

California Lutheran was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 12-1 to the Temecula Prep Patriots. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the C-Hawks of the 10-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2018.

Their goal came courtesy of Jeremy Brindley, who's now up to seven this season.

California Lutheran's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Temecula Prep, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-2-1.

California Lutheran wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 7-2 defeat against The Grove School on the 10th. As for Temecula Prep, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 1-0 win against Santa Rosa Academy on the 13th.
