Basketball Game Preview: Stanton Blue Devils vs. ED White Commanders + Official Tickets

Stanton is 0-8 against ED White since December of 2016 but things could change on Wednesday. The Blue Devils will head out to face off against the Commanders at 7:00 p.m. Stanton has given up an average of 54.9 points per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Stanton is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Episcopal School of Jacksonville on Monday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Blue Devils were beaten by the Eagles 64-28. The Blue Devils were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-10.

Meanwhile, ED White hadn't done well against Mandarin recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Commanders simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Mustangs 64-28. The Commanders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 21 points or more this season.

ED White's win came from a few key players Stanton will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Redriaunna Mitchell, who almost dropped a double-double with 11 points and nine boards. What's more, she posted four steals, the most she's had since back in January. The team also got some help courtesy of Divine Maule, who went 7-for-10 en route to 15 points.

ED White was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. They are a perfect 4-0 when they've passed the ball that well.

The win snapped ED White's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-3 record. As for Stanton, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.

Stanton took a serious blow against ED White in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, falling 76-49. Thankfully for the Blue Devils, Leandrea Mccloud (who dropped a double-double with 21 points and 17 rebounds) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
