Basketball Recap: Merritt Academy Takes a Loss

Merritt Academy lost against Hope Of Detroit Academy back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Merritt Academy Mustangs took a 59-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of Hope Of Detroit Academy. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Merritt Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Hope Of Detroit Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 8-9 record this season.

Coming up, Merritt Academy will venture away from home to square off against Michigan Math & Science at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Michigan Math & Science will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Merritt Academy surely won't give up without a fight. As for Hope Of Detroit Academy, they will host Chavez Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
