Baseball Recap: Lake Forest Academy Comes Up Short

Lake Forest Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Northridge Knights, falling 8-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 19-2 on Monday.

Lake Forest Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Landon Fraser, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Lake Forest Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Northridge, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-11.

Looking ahead, Lake Forest Academy will host Lake Forest at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Northridge, they are taking a road trip to challenge Niles Notre Dame at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Knights' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Dons have averaged an impressive 6.4 runs per game this season.
