Baseball Game Preview: Sacred Heart Academy vs. West Michigan Christian Patriots

For the second straight game, Sacred Heart Academy will face off against West Michigan Christian. Sacred Heart Academy will venture away from home to challenge West Michigan Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.

Sacred Heart Academy fell victim to West Michigan Christian and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 15-0 to the Patriots.

For West Michigan Christian's part, Peyton Lowell was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Lowell was also solid in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-2.

In other batting news, West Michigan Christian let Matthew Lang and Andrew Stafford run wild. The win made it two in a row for West Michigan Christian and bumps their season record up to 4-1-1. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.0 runs over those games. As for Sacred Heart Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
