The Lennard Longhorns's homestand will continue as they prepare to take on the Leto Falcons at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Lennard will be strutting in after a victory while Leto will be coming in after a loss.

While Lennard didn't have the best season last year (they finished 3-7), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They blew past Gateway 41-6 at home on Friday. Considering the Longhorns have won three contests by more than 28 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Gavin Fields and Jacob Mobley were among the main playmakers for Lennard as the former rushed for 136 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries and the latter threw for 274 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 11.9 yards per attempt. Fields' rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 135 rushing yards dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was London Green, who picked up 113 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Lennard's defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged two passes before it was all said and done. The picks came courtesy of Mekhi Williams and Dorian Burns.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Leto's offense. They were outmatched by Cardinal Mooney at home and fell 72-0. The Falcons' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Lennard's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Leto, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.
