Football Game Preview: North Atlanta Warriors vs. North Forsyth Raiders + How To Watch

The North Atlanta Warriors will take on the North Forsyth Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are out to turn their luck around after having lost tight contests in their previous games.

North Atlanta is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Lambert just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Longhorns by a score of 33-31.

Despite their defeat, North Atlanta saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Weston Goodman, who threw for 276 yards and four touchdowns, was perhaps the best of all. Jack Ellenburg was Goodman's top target, picking up 120 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Meanwhile, North Forsyth didn't have quite enough to beat Denmark on Friday and fell 10-7. The contest marked the Raiders' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

North Atlanta will have to contain Darron Parry as he made an impact in North Forsyth's last game. He rushed for 70 yards and one TD, and also picked up 34 receiving yards.

North Atlanta's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 4-3. As for North Forsyth, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.

Friday's game might be decided on the ground. North Atlanta has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 184.9 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like North Forsyth struggles in that department as they've been averaging 150 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's contest turns into a tough fight on the ground.

North Atlanta beat North Forsyth 27-17 in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Do the Warriors have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Raiders turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
