Volleyball Recap: Hough Finds Home Court Redemption Against Myers Park + How To Watch

There's no place like home for Hough, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They came out on top against the Myers Park Mustangs by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 back in September.

While Hough might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Myers Park scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-18, 23-25, 25-21.

Myers Park's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Barrett Lacouture, who had 15 assists and six digs. Lacouture is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 13 or more in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Lizzie Crawford, who had nine digs and four assists.

Hough has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-12 record this season. As for Myers Park, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-7.

Coming up, Hough will square off against Lake Norman at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Myers Park, they will challenge South Mecklenburg at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
