Basketball Preview: East Central Cardinals vs. Tahlequah Tigers
The East Central Cardinals will be playing at home against the Tahlequah Tigers at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Last Thursday, East Central had to suffer through a rough 80-53 loss at the hands of the Comets. East Central has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meanwhile, Tahlequah was beaten by the Hornets 91-54 on Thursday. While losing is never fun, Tahlequah can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 103rd, while the Hornets are ranked 14th).
East Central's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-9. As for Tahlequah, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-8.
