North Mason was the 4-2 winner over Sequim when they last played one another last Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. North Mason fell just short of Sequim by a score of 8-7 on Wednesday. The Bulldogs' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Josiah Ringstad and Pauli Calafiore stepped up to the plate in a big way. Ringstad scored two runs and stole three bases while going 1-for-3, while Calafiore scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Those stolen bases marked the first that Ringstad snagged this season. Another player making a difference was Caden Atencio, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

North Mason's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Sequim, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.

Looking ahead, North Mason will be playing at home against North Kitsap at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. North Mason's pitchers better be ready for this one: North Kitsap has averaged an impressive 6.9 runs per game this season. As for Sequim, they are taking a road trip to take on Lakewood at 12:00 p.m. on April 5.
