Football Game Preview: East View Patriots vs. Lake Belton Broncos + How To Watch

The East View Patriots will take on the Lake Belton Broncos at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Lake Belton will face off against a team with plenty of momentum: East View extended their winning streak to three on Friday. The Patriots took down Glenn 31-17. That's two games straight that the Patriots have won by exactly 14 points.

It was another big night for Cormyc Guerrero, who rushed for 40 yards and one score, and also threw for 130 yards and one touchdown.

Special teams also played a big role in the game for East View, adding 13 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Guerrero, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.

East View's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB six times. The heavy lifting was done by Jason Mehollin and Tieson Ejiawoko, who racked up four sacks between them.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lake Belton). They came out on top against Rouse by a score of 49-38 on Friday.

Lake Belton's win came from a few key players East View will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Maverik Maddux, who threw for 347 yards and three TDs, and also punched in one rushing score. Those 347 passing yards gave him a new career-high. Davion Peters was Maddux's top target, picking up 157 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

East View's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Lake Belton, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
