Basketball Game Preview: Immaculata-La Salle Royal Lions vs. TERRA Environmental

The Immaculata-La Salle Royal Lions are taking a road trip to face off against TERRA Environmental at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Immaculata-La Salle will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Last Tuesday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Immaculata-La Salle beat iMater Charter 37-31.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask TERRA Environmental). Everything went their way against Sunset on Wednesday as TERRA Environmental made off with a 52-26 victory. The win was some much needed relief for TERRA Environmental as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Immaculata-La Salle better focus on containing Celeste Teboe and Audrey Vega as the pair were huge in TERRA Environmental's win. Teboe went 6 of 13 en route to 17 points and five boards, while Vega posted 20 points. Teboe is also on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted two or more in the last three games she's played. Leah Diaz was another key player, putting up seven points.

TERRA Environmental's victory bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Immaculata-La Salle, their win bumped their record up to 13-3.

Immaculata-La Salle didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against TERRA Environmental in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, but they still walked away with a 40-34 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Immaculata-La Salle since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
