Windsor Locks came tearing into Monday's match with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.5 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Newington Nor'easters by a score of 9-5.

Xavier Angel was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in May of 2024.

Windsor Locks pushed their record up to 13-6 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.7 runs over those games. As for Newington, they now have a losing record of 6-7-1.

Looking ahead, Windsor Locks will be playing in front of their home fans against East Windsor at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Newington, they will head out to square off against Granby Memorial at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
