Volleyball Recap: Rusk Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Rusk was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Palestine Wildcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-14, 14-25, 25-8.

Rusk's defeat dropped their record down to 7-19. As for Palestine, they moved to 20-14 with that victory, which also ended their four-match losing streak.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Rusk is set to square off against their familiar foe Center at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Palestine will take on rival Bullard at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
