Wayne extended their winning streak (dating back to last season) to six on Thursday, bumping them up to 5-0. They enjoyed a cozy 52-37 win over the Panguitch Bobcats. That's more bragging rights for the Badgers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

AJ VanDyke had another great game (as she tends to do), almost dropping a double-double with 21 points and nine rebounds. The game was her third in a row with at least 18 points. Another player making a difference was Lilly Morrill, who posted six points and four steals.

As for Panguitch, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. The matchup marked their lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

When it comes to explaining why Panguitch lost, don't look at Makena Owens. Despite the final result, she put up ten points in addition to six boards and three steals. Owens also put up a block, which was her first of the season. Katie Hatch was another key player, putting up nine points.

Wayne has already played their next game, a 56-26 victory against Tintic on the 13th. As for Panguitch, they will be home for the holidays to greet San Juan at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
