Soccer Recap: Liberty Comes Up Short

Liberty's game on Thursday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell 3-1 to the Centennial Bulldogs. Liberty were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Centennial apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2022.

This is the second loss in a row for Liberty and nudges their season record down to 0-2-1. As for Centennial, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coincidentally, Liberty and Centennial will both be playing Lone Peak the next time they take the pitch. The Patriots will host the Knights at 5:45 p.m. on Friday, while the Bulldogs will head out to face them at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday.
