Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Crestwood Knights walked away with it. They put the hurt on the Indians with a sharp 67-43 victory on Wednesday. The win was just what Crestwood needed coming off of a 74-39 loss in their prior game.

Leading Crestwood to victory were Saniya Williams and Javiah Martin. Williams dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds, while Martin almost dropped a triple-double on 19 points, nine rebounds, and nine steals. Williams hasn't dropped below 18 points for nine straight games. Another player making a difference was London Vaughn, who scored six points along with 11 assists.

Several Indians players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Blythe Price, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine rebounds. Avery Campbell was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with five rebounds and two steals.

Crestwood is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season. As for Gilbert, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-10.
