Recap: Mifflinburg Wildcats vs. Warrior Run Defenders
The Mifflinburg Wildcats''s game last Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top against Warrior Run by a score of 28-21. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Mifflinburg also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2022.
Leading Mifflinburg to victory were Cole Reibsome and Troy Dressler. Reibsome threw for 236 yards and two touchdowns, while Dressler picked up 105 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
When it comes to explaining why Warrior Run lost, one person who can't be blamed is Colby Lebarron. Despite the final result, he rushed for 86 yards and three touchdowns.
Even if they lost, Warrior Run's defense still kept up the pressure with five sacks. Leading the way was Isaiah Betz and his two sacks.
Mifflinburg now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Warrior Run, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mifflinburg will take on Lewisburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Warrior Run, they will head out on the road to face off against Milton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Milton is coming into the match hot, having won their last eight games.
