Soccer Game Preview: Lake Ridge vs. Crowley

The Lake Ridge Eagles will take on the Crowley Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lake Ridge is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.4 goals per game this season.

Lake Ridge's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 4-0 margin over North Crowley. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Eagles considering their one-goal performance the matchup before.

They hit North Crowley with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Mallory Day, Ava Billingsley, Autumn Flanagan, and Gabrielle Moore.

Meanwhile, Crowley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against Mansfield, falling 5-0. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 415th, while the Tigers are ranked 143rd).

Crowley's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7-3. As for Lake Ridge, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2-1.
